Hungarian Paprika Spaghetti with Spicy Garlic Shrimp

Serving Size: 4-6

Ingredients:

1 lb. Pappardelle's Hungarian Paprika Spaghetti
1 tbsp. Bella Sol California Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 lb. large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tsp. minced garlic
¼ -½ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp. lemon zest
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
2 tbsp. chopped parsley (or cilantro)
Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions: 

  1. Bring 4 quarts (3.8 liters) of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta to water, return water to a gentle boil and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente, stirring intermittently.
  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Lightly season shrimp with salt & pepper. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Stir in garlic, red pepper flakes and lemon zest. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Add in lemon juice and parsley.
  4. Toss pasta with shrimp mixture. Serve and enjoy!
