Unique and elegant, this “black-tie” orzo product blends black Calamari and Plain Semolina Orzo. Always a favorite as an accompaniment to seafood dishes. We originally created this orzo blend for a special New Year’s Eve banquet of a local caterer. His theme? All food served that night was dressed in “formal” black and white.

  • To prepare, bring 4 quarts (3.8 liters) of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta to water, return water to a gentle boil and cook for 10-12 minutes or until al dente, stirring intermittently. Drain and serve immediately.
  • Durum Semolina Flour (Milled Wheat, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Wheat Gluten, Cuttlefish and/or Squid Ink, Egg Whites.
